PASS TYPES
What pass should you get?
Check out our WHAT PASS SHOULD I GET? Grid!

PASS TYPES (in words, instead of check boxes on the grid above):

MVP Pass:
This is the “all access” pass. Skate everything! Only MVPs can go to on skates classes.
With the appropriate insurance validation, MVPs get entry into all on and off-skates events, plus access to the training camp on flat tracks, banked track and in the skate park. They get to skate at the open skate rink, social skates, in the skate park, and compete or officiate in bouts, Challenges and open scrimmages. They have access to our private social events – everything. There are 2500 of these passes available, and in past years they sold out pretty quickly (about 36 hours in 2015).

Skater Pass.
This pass is for people who love to skate games, skate park and dance, but have no plans to take classes. Classes are NOT included.
This pass is for people who love to skate, but don’t plan to take classes. MVP classes are not included in this pass type! The skater pass – with validated insurance – allows you to skate in the skate park, in open skate sessions and social skates, and participate in competitive events that you sign up for in advance. Skater Pass *without* validated insurance will still get you into social skates and rink and dance skating. You also get entry into all the non-skating RollerCon events, as well, including swap meet , vendor village and social events. The skater pass does NOT include entry into the on-skates training camp. This pass MAY NOT include seminars and off skates training (it depends on how many of the QR readers we can afford; the rooms may be behind the MVP pass barriers).  If you absolutely must have access to seminars and off-skates, please choose an MVP pass. These passes don’t always sell out, but they are a lot cheaper early in the season.

Off Skates Convention Pass & Day Passes.
If you aren’t skating this year, this might be the pass for you.
If you don’t plan to roller skate, this might be the pass for you. Off skates passes give you viewing access to most on-skates events – excluding on skates training. This pass gets you into the audience for competitive events, and participation access and all our social events. This pass MAY NOT include seminars and off skates training. If you absolutely must have access to seminars and off-skates, please choose an MVP pass. These passes are unlikely to sell out, but will cost more on site. This is the pass to get for your family or friends who want to watch you skate.

Children’s Pass. This gives your baby or child entry to some RollerCon events including audience seating for bouts and challenges and vendor village. Children may not attend on-skates training or 21+ events (like our PM social parties or after-hours pool).  Junior skaters are welcome to attend RollerCon with an Off Skates Convention Pass. There are no skating events for juniors at RollerCon. Please note that RollerCon is a convention for adult athletes which (like the entire city of Las Vegas) frequently includes competitions and events featuring adult themes, violence, drinking, profanity and nudity. RollerCon is generally inappropriate for children. Parents who bring their children enter at their own risk and assume all risk for their children. Children must be actively supervised at all times. For insurance and safety reasons, we do not offer free passes or free entry for children or babies of any age.

Volunteer Pass. Volunteers earn discounts and freebie versions of the same exact passes listed above, all at costs less than the very cheapest passes that the regular non-volunteers can buy. Their passes don’t sell out when the pass types do (though they must redeem them before the deadline we post each year). You can earn one for next year by volunteering for our RollerCon Army!

VENDOR PASS
Vendors get two or more free passes with each booth. We ask them to fill out a form that we email directly. If the pass is for a skater, we give them an MVP Vendor Pass. If they say they’re not skating, they get an Off-Skates Vendor Convention Pass. These passes have the same privileges listed above, except that they are a different color to indicate that the  holder has after-hours access to vendor areas. Vendors who wish to purchase more passes can check a box during purchase to indicate that they want the holder to have Vendor Access, or request an invoice from RC sponsorship.

Validated roller skate insurance is required to skate in skatepark and contact sessions, classes and competitions at RollerCon.  More Info.

RollerCon 2020 & 2021 were cancelled.

ROLLERCON PASS POLICIES

Cancellations & Deferrals
RollerCon passes can be cancelled & refunded, but ONLY if you choose to get optional insurance at the purchase stage. Insurance cannot be added later. We are so sorry, but if you do not purchase pass insurance, passes are not refundable even if you have a really good reason. It is a **really** good idea to get ticket insurance; skaters get injured! What if you can’t travel? But it’s up to you.
FanShield Ticket Insurance protects you for the following reasons:

  • Accident / Illness / Injury
  • Layoff or Work Travel Conflict
  • Jury Duty
  • Travel Interruptions
  • Family Emergencies
  • Here are the specific terms which depend on your region: https://www.fanshield.com/policy-map

FanShield works just like airline ticket insurance; they require backup paperwork to approve claims.

Did you get ticket insurance and need to make a claim? Search your email for FanShield to find your policy ID, and then contact help@fanshield.insure.

RollerCon passes cannot be deferred / rolled over to future years.

UPGRADES:
You can upgrade your pass! Use the info in your purchase confirmation email to upgrade while ticket types are still available.

PASS PRICES
Pass prices go up on the first of each month after they are released. Check the “register” link at the top of this page (after November) to see current prices.

EVERY EVENT REQUIRES A PASS
There was a time years ago when a person could attend RollerCon parties without a pass. That time has passed. ALL RollerCon events are in closed, convention-only spaces that require a RollerCon pass. Encourage your family and friends to get super cheap off skates passes in the Fall to see your games and come with you to parties!

NAMES & GOVERNMENT IDs
Your pass must have your name and it must match your Government-Issued ID for Registration. Once you have your pass – a QR enabled wristband, you will not have to show ID for events ** except possibly for 21-over parties**

TRANSFERS:
Tickets are non-transferable, which means you may not give your ticket to someone else.  You will not be able to buy someone else’s pass, either. Every pass name must match holder’s government-issued ID and the insurance info given to us at purchase. Sorry, but we can make no exceptions to this rule.

Update your INSURANCE NUMBER:
– Update your insurance number(s) on the form at the bottom of the Insurance page.

INJURIES AT ROLLERCON
Injuries at RollerCon that result in the skater being referred out for further assessment or treatment may result in our EMT Manager holding the injured skater’s skating pass until they return with a Return to Play release from a qualified medical professional. If the skater is cleared to skate, their pass will be (happily) returned to them. If the injured skater is not cleared to skate, the EMT Manager will discuss ticket options with the skater. Please note that this only happens in extreme circumstances (generally when the skater leaves in an ambulance), and our first and most important priority is the skater’s safety.  In spite of rumors to the contrary, minor injuries do not get anyone a free pass for future years.
